Venice Carnevale - Carnival Festival in Venice Italy
Carnevale is the top festival celebration in Venice. Venice Carnevale is an ancient celebration starting 40 days before Easter, the last fling before Ash Wednesday. Now somewhat commercialized, Venice Carnevale is still considered a memorable attraction for tourists.

ReplyDeleteI wish I could visit Venice during Carnivale! Maybe someday!
ReplyDeleteI am a wallpaper lover too! I wonder why so many dislike it and think it old fashioned? I still have a few rooms that are wallpapered --it hides a lot of flaws in an old house ;)
Happy Pink Saturday!
WOW!!!!! This is JUST fabulous! Not only your post, masks and donuts, but also because' You've got mail' is my fav movie, and if I had a boy, it would be Brinkley too!!!

Takes me back. The mask are so beautiful. I went to a factory in Venice where they make them, it is fascinating how they make them. And the painting is something to behold. I'm loving that room with the pink wallpaper. How pretty is that! Have a great weekend Gina. It snowed here last night; and here I was, hoping spring was here to stay. Not.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteAmazing masks, this Carnival must be such a special event!
